孙健博士，1980年生。2003年本科毕业于河北大学历史系，同年9月进入北京师范大学历史学院，中国古代史专业，师承游彪教授，攻读项士、博士学位。博士在学期间，赴比利时根特大学汉学系求学，专业方向为东方语言与文化，导师为Ann Heirman教授。2011年，获北京师范大学和根特大学联合培养博士学位。主要研究领域为宋代政治史、文化史，以及英语世界宋史研究学术史。

Sun Jian graduated from Beijing Normal University with a master degree and studied in the Sinology Department of Ghent University in Belgium. In 2011, he was trained jointly by Beijing Normal University and Ghent University as PhD.

Research interests include the Song Dynasty political history, cultural history, as well as the academic history of the history of Song Dynasty in the English world.
