北京外国语大学国际中国文化研究院学刊《国际汉学》执行编辑。
2006年毕业于北京大学比较文学与比较文化研究所，获文学博士学位。曾先后访学于美国加州大学洛杉矶分校、台湾辅仁大学、香港中文大学。
主要研究领域为中英文学关系、西方的中国形像、近现代时期在华英文报研究。
专著有《英国十七、十八世纪旅华游记研究》（外研社，2013），论文有《从〈约翰中国佬信札〉看“东方信札”体裁作品与中国主题之关系》、《英国人的汉语观与中华文明的优劣说——17、18世纪旅华英国人对汉语的认识与评价》、《中国形象成因的复杂性初探——以十七、十八世纪英国旅华游记为例》、《中国近现代时期北京英文报综述》、《16、17世纪西方人眼中的福建——以〈拉达行记〉与〈新东印度纪事〉为中心》、《英国游记中的中国形象：历时的勾勒与流变》、《威廉·福克纳小说〈押沙龙，押沙龙！〉的叙述技巧初探》等十余篇。
现主持北京市哲学社会科学规划项目《近现代时期北京英文报的比较文化研究》（项目编号：09BaLS038）。另外，自2002年始为《英语学习》月刊的《了望台》评论专栏撰稿，评述西方文化动态，部分篇章结集为《偏见·旅行》（外研社，2008）。

Brief Introduction
Executive editor of the International Sinology, an academic journal of the National Research Centre of Overseas Sinology, Beijing Foreign Studies University. He graduated from the Institute of Comparative Literature and Culture of Peking University and obtained Ph. D. in 2006. Besides, he once did research in University of California Los Angels, Fu Jen University of Taiwan and Chinese University of Hong Kong as a visiting scholar. His main academic interest includes Sino-British Literary Relation, Western Images of China and English Newspapers in China During the Late Qing and Republic of China Periods. His recent works include Studies on British Travel Books about China in the 17th and 18th Centuries (Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, 2013) and dozens of academic thesis in the above mentioned fields. His is presently sponsoring Beijing Municipal Humanity and Social Science Research Project“Comparative Cultural Studies on the English Newspapers Based in Beijing During the Republic of China Period”. Besides, he writes regularly for the opinion column of the English Language Learning Monthly and part of the writings are collected in Have Prejudice, Won’t Travel(2008).
